Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Amy Westpfahl moved to New York City in 1995 where she continues to live and work today. She received her BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science & Art in 2000 and obtained an MFA in Combined Media from Hunter College in 2007. She currently works for the Cooper Union School of Art Admissions Committee as the Coordinator of Recruitment and Admissions and is adjunct professor at Lehman College in the Bronx. She has shown her work throughout the New York area and abroad including: Priska Juschka Fine Art, Artist Space, ISE Cultural Foundation and Jersey City Art Museum/Victory Hall.
