Rape Survivors Kit contains a series of five images of fingernail tissue scrapings taken from women whom are survivors of rape. Placed on glass slides and put under a microscope, the images were then saved on a computer and later exposed onto sheet film and printed in the darkroom. The photos were then installed with the contents of a rape evidence kit obtained from a New York City public hospital.

Sample No. 6 Finger Nail Scrapings represent a victim's attempt at fighting off their attacker and through DNA evidence may also possibly help identify a victim's attacker. In this case however, they are meant to symbolize new growth and a continuance of life. The abstracted images often resembling beautiful landscapes signifying a rebuilding process of healing.
